Truffle Cooking 2019
It’s one of my favourite times of the year when I spend about $50 on a fresh Tasmanian grown truffle and cook with it for a few days until it is all gone enjoying every delicious mouthful YUM!!

We had a wonderful High Tea on Sunday showcasing the delicious treats you can make in your Thermomix, I was so busy I didn’t get to take very many photos so Eloise Emmett has very kindly allowed me to share her photos of the event we held together at Little Norfolk Bay Events and Chalets. All our guests had a wonderful relaxing afternoon.
It’s the new kid on my kitchen bench the Thermomix model 6 & yes I’ve got 2 already!! You don’t need 2 but it just helps me do my job so well (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it LOL) I’m slowly testing out all the new things to let you know all about them and I will update this post as I go. The best way to check it out is to book a Thermomix Cooking Experience so you can see and taste it all for yourself. See the menu options on the previous post.
Anyway some of the new features and functions the new Thermomix has to offer are wowing off my customers socks !!!
It has a bigger screen and you can log directly into cookidoo to start guided cooking straight away. There are new slow cook & sous vide function available too. The new MC that locks in & the new flexible spatula are very popular. Within guided recipes to you can access higher temperatures for sauteing or sugar work for things like honeycomb (I don’t actually like it but I’ve made it a few times now)
I love Sophia’s recipes they are easy to follow with ingredients we would all easily have available to us. Here are a few I have made so far 🙂
How would you like to win a trip to Matt Sinclair’s Noosa Restaurant?
YES!! All you have to do is host a Thermomix Cooking Experience between July & September 2019 with one of Matt’s menus and have 2 – 6 guests in attendance. That’s too easy and so delicious!! Find all the details here.
